We will work hard until there is 0% food waste and 100% 'full harvests', where all edible produce grown goes towards consumption. We aim to reinvent the food system so that food and beverage companies utilize imperfect and surplus produce to the fullest extent possible.

Meet Our Founder
Chaudhary Karan Singh is a proven Ag-Business farmer with a true entrepreneurial passion. Mechanical Engineer from the background with years of experience with machines, but when it comes to knowing the agriculture industry he has a proven track record of success.
He took over the family farming of 100 hectares of land in 1950. While his previous generations followed the conventional farming methods, he started incubating the next generation technologies in farming, resulting in the launching of Modern Farming in 1992.
His family has grown in man-power since then and now hold more than 200 hectares of land in Haryana, India. Mr. Chaudhary always supported small farmers by providing them lands and capital to sustain. Following his vision of supporting small scale farming, other farmers also came in support of this model and they are working together to help the farmers in this critical time.
Developing Products for People, Plants, and Mother Earth
He worked to benefit not only the farmer, but also consumers and the eco-system. From the farm to the plate, the impact of produce was evaluated and monitored, so that he can continually evolve the nutritious product offerings. Tie up with third-party agencies and regulatory bodies reviewed and confirmed his findings, ensuring he bring safe and effective products to the market.

1835
Foundation of Prolific Land
Chaudhary family acquired hundreds of hectares of infertile land in Haryana ( Punjab in 1835) and worked for years to make it high yield and fecund without disturbing the natural habitat and ecosystem.
1950
Machine Based Farming
Mr. Chaudhary decided to quit his Mechanical Engineer Job with Fiat Cars and introduced the machine based farming in the village and concept of “the farm as organism” to make it more fertile.
1992
Organic Farming Foundation
Increasing usage of chemicals and pesticides raised the alarm and he decided to transform the conventional farming ways to bring healthier yields and more productive soil.
2014
Collaboration with other Farmers
Increasing expenses and decreasing production quantity bring the farmers together to share the resources. Israel based scientists provided attentive care to improve soil fertility, biodiversity.
2016
Registration in Canada
Organic Kissan was registered in Canada to reach the global market to fulfill the demand of nutritious food and milk and to play a crucial role in building a environmentally sustainable healthy food system. Eventually which will improve the farmers condition worldwide and consumers will get healthiest and nutritious produce.
